This is the fourth edition of our "Collection of the Month" series. Since the beginning of the year, every 20th day of the month we present you the versatility of one of Lexi Design's beautiful paper collections. We couldn't wait to present you our ideas for using another one of them.
The April collection of the month is MEN'S WORLD SET.
Men's World SET to kolekcja dedykowana wszystkim Panom, z ręcznie malowanymi ilustracjami do wycięcia. Są tu zarówno męskie postaci i atrybuty z różnych branży, jak i dziewczyny Pin-up. Tła znajdujące się w zestawie są uzupełnieniem męskiego świata: murawa piłkarska, jeans, monety, beton, droga, metal. Oryginalność, uniwersalność i męskość tej kolekcji to jej atuty.
Men's World SET is a collection dedicated to all men, with hand-painted illustrations to cut out. There are male figures and attributes from various industries, as well as Pin-up girls. The backgrounds included in the set complement the male world: football grass, denim, coins, concrete, road, metal. The originality, versatility and masculinity of this collection are its strengths.

Marzena Macarena prezentuje dwa różne światy w swoich kartkach - mamy tu gentlemana i mechanika. Wybór grafik w kolekcji Men's World zaspokoi różne wymagania. Tekturki czy hdf-ki Laserowe Love, jak choćby użyte tu trybiki, urozmaicą i wzbogacą pracę. Podobnie dodanie innych kolekcji papierów - Steam Time Lexi Design czy Coffee Time Laserowe Love.
Marzena Macarena presents two different worlds in her cards - here we have a gentleman and a mechanic. The variety of graphics in the Men's World collection will satisfy different requirements. Chipboards or Laserowe Love hdfs, such as the cogs used here, will diversify and enrich the work. Similarly, adding other collections of papers - Steam Time Lexi Design or Coffee Time Laserowe Love.
Iza OdRęki zauroczona grafikami i tłami przygotowała w ramach inspiracji aż 3 kartki. Każda kartka wykonana jest na innym tle i ma inny klimat, Zwróćcie jednak uwagę, jak wstążka jutowa fantastycznie pasuje i do grafik z dziewczynami pin-up i do tematyki eleganckich gentlemanów. Macie tu również porównanie użycia grafiki mechanika bez dodatków spoza kolekcji Men's World. Iza pracowała wyłącznie na papierach tej kolekcji.
Iza OdRęki, enchanted with the graphics and backgrounds, prepared three cards for inspiration. Each card is made on a different background and has a different atmosphere, but note how the jute ribbon fits fantastically both to the graphics with pin-up girls and to the theme of elegant gentlemen. Here you also have a comparison of using the mechanic's graphics without any extras from the Men's World collection. Iza worked only on papers from this collection.
Na element zaskoczenia zdecydowała się Aneta Manufaktura Anety tworząc kartkę typu pop up box dla piłkarza. Ta mniej typowa forma kartki z pewnością wywoła efekt "wow" u odbiorcy! Kartka złożona na płasko jest dość niepozorna, natomiast po rozłożeniu ukazuje nam się postać otwartego pudełeczka z przegródkami. Jeśli jesteś fanką/ fanem wycinania papierowych elementów to na pewno polubisz ten rodzaj kartek. Do przegródek Aneta przykleiła papierowe elementy oraz urodzinową tekturkę Laserowe Love.
Aneta Manufaktura Anety decided to add an element of surprise by creating a pop up box card for a footballer. This less typical form of the card will surely have a "wow" effect on the recipient! The card is quite modest when folded flat, but when unfolded it looks like an open box with compartments. If you are a fan of cutting out paper elements then you will definitely like this kind of cards. To the compartments Aneta glued paper elements and birthday chipboard Laserowe Love.
Kristina, z tym samym tłem co Aneta, wykonała kartkę w pudełku. Dodała tam również dwa loga ulubionych drużyn piłkarskich obdarowanego. Cóż za miły, spersonalizowany prezent, prawda? Wśród tekturek Laserowe Love znajdziecie ramki i cyfry, które dodadzą Waszym kartkom indywidualnego charakteru.
Kristina, with the same background as Aneta, made a card in a box. She also added there two logos of the recipient's favourite football teams. What a nice personalised gift, right? Among the Laserowe Love chipboards you will find frames and numbers that will add a personal touch to your cards.
Ewa Le Secret Art Eve również użyła jako bazę papiery z piłkarską murawą, ale u niej atutem stał się tu kolor papieru. Ewa postawiła na napisy uniwersalne, dzięki którym bez trudu stworzycie kartki na urodziny, imieniny czy z okazji awansu. Iza w swoich pracach użyła jutowej wstążki, a u Ewy możecie się przekonać, że grafiki z kolekcji Men's World świetnie prezentują się na tle gazy.
Ewa Le Secret Art Eve also used papers with a football turf as a base, but for her, the colour of the paper became an advantage here. Ewa decided to use universal lettering, thanks to which you can easily create cards for birthdays, name days or promotions. Iza used jute ribbon in her works and in Ewa's works you can see that graphics from the Men's World collection look great on the gauze background.
Paulina MaloMalo.pl wykonała postindustrialny album - nieklasyczny w swym nieco szorstkim charakterze. W prostocie siła, a te cudowne papiery bronią się same. Paulina dodała tekturki z kolekcji Home sweet Home od Laserowe Love: serce i napis oraz stemple kleksów. Kompozycję wzbogacają kropki emaliowane i żółte cyrkonie korespondujące z żółcią na arkuszu nr 01.
Paulina MaloMalo.pl made a post-industrial album - unclassical in its slightly rough character. Simplicity is power and these wonderful papers defend themselves. Paulina added chipboards from the Home sweet Home collection from Laserowe Love: a heart and an inscription as well as blob stamps. The composition is enriched by enamel dots and yellow zircons corresponding to the yellow on the sheet 01.
Magda Lulaczkowo w ramach inspiracji do kwietniowej kolekcji miesiąca wykonała exploding box na 18 urodziny. Kolorem przewodnim jest złoty, więc idealnie wpasował się tutaj arkusz z monetami. Z kolekcji wykorzystała również grafiki sportowego samochodu, a także stewardessy. Ze ścinków pozostałych po oklejeniu boxa Magda wykonała papierowy tort. Dodała również tekturkę cytat z najnowszej kolekcji „Toys for Boys”.
Magda Lulaczkowo as an inspiration for the April collection of the month made an exploding box for the 18th birthday. The main colour is gold, so the sheet with coins fit perfectly here. She also used graphics of a sports car and a stewardess from the collection. From the scraps left after gluing the box Magda made a paper birthday cake. She also added a chipboard quote from the latest "Toys for Boys" collection.

Tradycyjnie na koniec mamy dla Was coś nieoczywistego. Dorota Streng z kolekcji miesiąca przygotowała chustecznik.
Traditionally we have something not so obvious for you at the end. Dorota Streng has prepared a handkerchief box for the collection of the month.
Bazę, po przeszlifowaniu papierem ściernym, Dorota pomalowała na żółto od środka i na wierzchu, a wszystkie krawędzie na czarno. Następnie docięła papiery, przykleiła i zabezpieczyła 2 cienkimi warstwami lakieru matowego. Używając masy (glinki) na końcach chustecznika dorobiła ozdoby przypominające ponitowane blachy. W niektórych miejscach dodatkowo postarzyła jeszcze czarną farbą matową, a całość podkreśliła srebrnym woskiem metalicznym.
Dorota painted the base, after sanding with sandpaper, yellow inside and out, and all the edges black. Then she cut the papers, glued them and protected with 2 thin layers of matt varnish. Using (clay) on the ends of the handkerchief box she made decorations looking like punched metal sheets.
In some places she additionally aged the box with matte black paint. The whole underlined with silver metallic wax.
